Day 1 – Marrakech – Imlil Valley

The tour begins with pickup from the meeting point or either your hotel in Marrakech in the morning and heads south across the Haouz plains towards Asni, which lies at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive at the day’s first stop, an argan oil cooperative, and learn about the fascinating process of argan oil production from start to finish. After your introduction to the world of argan oil, the tour continues south, passing Kasbah Tamadot, once part of the Virgin Empire and now a luxury retreat . Arrive at the second stop of the day, Imlil village, and enjoy a 4/5 hour mountain trek through the surrounding landscapes with an expert guide. Our guide is so flexible to any suggestions which will suit your needs while you are still can discuss with your guide the trek you want to do because imlil is the gateway to Mount Toubkal which has offered several treks to its visitors. Alternatively, you can rent a mule for the trip which is also possible. Along the way, marvel at stunning waterfalls and breathtaking views, as well as local Berber villages and hamlets in the Toubkal Valley. Finally, return to Marrakech with an expected arrival time of 6 p.m.
